The Art of the Day is: Making space

In literature as in life (do you recognize this all time lead in line from high school essays?) there comes a time when we need to straighten things up, get rid of stuff, and make room for others.
This is not my forte. I'm a nester, by inclination, and like to surround myself with things. On some level it is visually stimulating, but there is a point where it becomes overwhelming. Well that threshold has been reached (breached?), and although today I have a friend coming over to be honest eyes for me, and keep me on track, my project for the week is to clear up, clean out, and generally reorganize. Wish me well, and I'll keep you informed.
