I've been thinking about this for a while, ever since I sat in on a rehearsal of Almost Asleep, a play that was performed recently in Boston. Novel Eye was in it. It's a play about a woman exploring her reactions and feelings about being assaulted.
I've also been aware of what to share and what to keep to myself in the process of switching employers. What's in my best interest? Are these things of interest to anyone but me?
One thing I have determined is the timing is mine. I can choose what and where and to whom I confide, or confess, or inform.
This is just the beginning of this topic. I promise to revisit it.
