The Art of the Day is: Poetic Thinking

"Life is impossibly lyrical,
Is it me?
No it's you."

(I think it's a quote from Gigi, the movie "No, She's not Thinkng of Me", any verifiers?)

I've been thinking about the blue moon this month, and the song:

"Blue moon, you left me standing alone,
without a dream in my heart,
without a love of my own."

I suppose living your life from a song lyric is the same as living your life from a Shakespeare quote, although that has always been sort of stressful. My favorite quotes seem to come from the Tragedies... "Make thick my blood", "If it were done, twas best be done quickly", "Oh, that this too, too solid flesh would melt".
This relates to the whole Ally McBeal thing of having a personal theme or anthem. Surprising myself, as a minimalist (who likes living in high Victorian clutter), I've boiled it down to a line.

Which brings me back to the art of the day.
I've been thinking in poetry. Things seem more intense, more dramatic, more "Ah, me". Is it that Spring thing? The weather is softer, the trees are intensely green. The lilacs are in bloom.
We come out of our nests and want to socialize.
Ah, me.
